The Sustainable Coffee Farming Learning Platform is an educational platform developed and managed by Fundación Solidaridad Network Colombia. These Conditions of Use (“Conditions”) govern access to and use of our website, virtual classrooms, applications, and other services offered (hereinafter, the “Services”). Some of our Services may include software downloadable to your computer, tablet, or mobile phone. You agree that such software may update automatically and that these Conditions shall also apply to such updates.

Please read these conditions carefully before using the platform. By clicking “I Accept,” or by accessing and using our Services, you express your agreement with these Conditions and with the complementary policies referenced in this document. Terms and Conditions of the Sustainable Coffee Farming Learning Platform

 

1. Registration and Account Access

To access the contents and courses of the Sustainable Coffee Farming Learning Platform, the user must create a personal account with truthful and up-to-date information. The user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their credentials and for the activities carried out from their account. Accounts are personal and non-transferable. Any improper use may result in the suspension or cancellation of access.

The Sustainable Coffee Farming Learning Platform may request identity verification or additional information when necessary to ensure the security of the platform.

 

2. Intellectual Property

All contents of the platform, including texts, images, videos, educational materials, and software, are the property of Fundación Solidaridad Network Colombia or of its partners, protected by national and international copyright legislation.

The partial or total reproduction of the contents is authorized only when their integrity is preserved and the source is cited in accordance with the Creative Commons 4.0 Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives International License. Commercial use, modification, or unauthorized distribution is prohibited.

The trademarks and logos of the Sustainable Coffee Farming Learning Platform and of Solidaridad Network are the exclusive property of the Foundation and may not be used without prior written authorization.

 

3. User Responsibilities

The user agrees to use the platform responsibly and exclusively for educational purposes. It is prohibited to:

  • Impersonate the identity of other users or entities.
  • Disseminate, copy, or modify contents without authorization.
  • Introduce viruses or carry out actions that affect the operation of the system.
  • Use the platform for commercial or fraudulent purposes.
  • Publish offensive contents or contents contrary to morality and public order.

The user shall be responsible for the contents they publish or share. The Sustainable Coffee Farming Learning Platform may remove any content that infringes rights or rules.

 

4. Provider Responsibilities

The Sustainable Coffee Farming Learning Platform commits to offering access to its courses and educational materials, guaranteeing the protection of personal data in accordance with Ley 1581 de 2012 and Decreto 1377 de 2013. (To be confirmed)

The platform may be interrupted due to maintenance, improvements, or force majeure events. In such cases, efforts will be made to restore the service as soon as possible. For inquiries or technical support, users may reach out to correo@correo.org

 

5. Limitations of Liability and Dispute Resolution

The Sustainable Coffee Farming Learning Platform is not responsible for:

  • Interruptions or failures beyond its control.
  • Loss of information due to misuse of the platform.
  • Third-party contents or external links.

The use of the platform is the exclusive responsibility of the user. The Sustainable Coffee Farming Learning Platform does not guarantee that the courses or materials will meet specific expectations.

Any dispute arising from the use of the platform shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia and shall be resolved before the courts of the Departamento de Cundinamarca, ciudad de Bogotá.

 

6. Academic Recognition

No official academic recognition

The Sustainable Coffee Farming Learning Platform does not grant academic credits for the completion of courses or training contents, unless a partner educational institution explicitly establishes so. Participation in or completion of the courses does not imply obtaining officially recognized academic credits.

Even if an institution grants credit for a specific course, there is no guarantee that other institutions will accept such credit. The user agrees not to claim academic credits unless they have obtained a certificate or equivalent document issued by the Sustainable Coffee Farming Learning Platform or by an endorsed institution.

The Sustainable Coffee Farming Learning Platform, its instructors, and partners have no obligation whatsoever to ensure that the courses are recognized by educational institutions or accreditation entities.

 

7. Disclaimer of Relationship Between User and Content Provider

Except in programs or collaborations that expressly indicate otherwise, no provision in these Terms nor the user’s participation in courses or contents offered by third parties (content providers) establishes:

a) Any formal relationship between the user and the content provider.

b) Any enrollment or registration of the user in the content provider’s institution or in the programs offered by such institution.

c) Any right to use the institutional resources of a content provider beyond the specific participation in the course or content provided.

The Sustainable Coffee Farming Learning Platform and the associated content providers are not obligated to recognize any type of academic or institutional relationship arising from the user’s participation in the courses.

 

8. User Content

The user may upload, share, or publish materials in the enabled spaces of the platform. By doing so, the user declares that they hold the necessary rights over such content and grants the Sustainable Coffee Farming Learning Platform a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, reproduce, and display that content solely for educational purposes or for the promotion of the platform.

The Sustainable Coffee Farming Learning Platform reserves the right to remove or moderate any content that infringes the law, the rights of third parties, or the rules of conduct established in these Terms.
