Starbucks work touches thousands of coffee farmers in more than 30 origin countries providing support and training relevant to farming communities.
Through its Farmer Support Centers located in Colombia, Guatemala, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Indonesia, and China, Starbucks provides technical assistance on agronomy practices and other
topics relevant to coffee farming aimed at supporting coffee quality and productivity.
Its C.A.F.E. Practices (Coffee and Farmer Equity Practices) standard establishes criteria against which farms and suppliers are assessed for inclusion in Starbucks supply chain.

Learning on Agronomic Practices, Practices that Support Coffee Quality, and Human Rights
This platform is a learning ecosystem, co-designed by Solidaridad Network and Starbucks, to strengthen the capabilities of coffee producers, technical teams, and coffee organizations.
Its purpose is to support productivity, coffee quality, and the adoption of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) through practical, multi-channel training tailored to field conditions.
The platform also advances respect for human rights by providing training on human rights risks, practices aimed at prevention and mitigation of forced labor and child labor risks, and that promote fair working conditions.
By integrating technical knowledge, digital tools, and field-based support, it allows easy access to training on relevant and valuable topics for the coffee farming sector.
